My First NED Role – Sean Christie

My first NED role came about because a local company was looking to float and needed to find a number of commercial NEDs ahead of this. They were particularly interested in recruiting from Plc’s based in the region and I was in the right place at the right time. In general, talking to relevant head-hunters and having a good network are important. Many of my Audit Committee chairmanship roles have come via the accounting firms recommending me to their clients.
